Video Conference Calls - The future of business!

Conference calling has been popular in business for a number of years now. It’s popularity is primarily due to its ease of use, cost effectiveness and benefits to global business. Pretty much all companies will use conference calling at some point, whether it is to simply speak with their other offices around the country, deal with multiple clients at the same time around the globe or to simply have a 3 way informal chat with between board members. Whatever its use, it is a service that will be around for a long time to come.

A conference call service that is becoming increasingly popular is video call conferencing. As the name suggests, this involves streaming a video of the individuals participating in the call to all parties, as well as the usual call audio. Video conferencing is popular as it grants the parties the ability to use visuals during their discussion as opposed to the audio only conference calls of the past. Most video conferencing takes place over VoIP or the Voice Over Internet Protocol, mainly due to its ability to stream large amounts of data at a next to nothing price. Most third party conferencing services now offer VoIP and Video Conferencing as part of a package with traditional conference call services making such technology accessible to pretty much anyone.
